Mom2Mom

Funded since 2014

Mom2Mom improves the lives of women and children living in poverty by connecting moms with a community of women who can offer practical and emotional support. They also facilitate connection to programs and services that alleviate the stress of poverty such as grocery gift cards, children's activities, and tickets to cultural events. When moms thrive, children thrive.

Why we fund Mom2Mom

You don’t see many examples of adults directly helping other adults. We love Mom2Mom’s model, which connects mothers who come from a position of privilege with more vulnerable moms. This peer-to-peer support helps struggling moms get through the tough times that come with parenting, which are particularly challenging for those who are living in poverty.
