Ahousaht

Current status: Ready for use summer 2024.

Lying within the traditional territory of the Nuu-chah-nulth people, Ahousaht is a coastal community perched along the rugged shores of Clayoquot Sound. Guided by their cultural values and deep spiritual connection to the land and sea, the Ahousaht people embody resilience and strength in the face of adversity. With a focus on sustainable resource management and cultural revitalization, Ahousaht embraces traditional knowledge alongside modern innovations to ensure a prosperous future for its residents and the generations to come.

DESCRIPTION

A place for members of the Ahousaht Nation and all other Nuu-chah-nulth people to receive addition treatment within the safety of their own community.

We have supported the community in bringing their project to life from the inception of the idea, providing advisory services and programming dollars to support delivery of care.
